What is From a Female Youth Worker?

It’s a newsletter with thoughts from a female youth worker - thoughts broadly on the topics of youth ministry, discipleship, and women in youth ministry.

Who are you?

I’m Linda Oliver. I spent 13 years working in local church youth ministry. In 2023 I shifted my focus and now give my time to equip, resource, and care for ministry leaders, especially female youth workers.

I’ve partnered with a few youth ministry resourcing organizations for many years, including helping CPYU launch The Word in Youth Ministry podcast, contributing to RYM’s podcast, and writing and editing resources for RYM. My “content creation” and “publishing” days go all the way back to 1998, though, when I started making websites about members of *NSYNC… but, that’s a whole other story.

Part of my time goes directly to offering free care to female ministry leaders, especially those who are in youth ministry and/or single. If you fit that category and could use someone to talk to who “gets it,” please reach out.
